Joe Loya, Chief Financial Officer

Joy Loya is the Chief Financial Officer for New Frontier Data. A native Texan, Joe started NubeFin LLC in 2013 to provide Executive suite level consulting to a myriad of small business owners. Offering management and assistance to CEOs, NubeFin specializes in all aspects of business activities focusing on building businesses with solid foundations for long-term growth. In addition to these offerings, Loya serves as the principal advisor to company CEOs in formulating strategy and assisting with the execution of the company’s strategic vision. Recently, he helped his daughter Claudia launch her own company, BB Group, a Texas base digital social media company where he serves as an advisor and co-founded with his son, Nicolas a start up in 3D cyberspace videography (3dvirtualspace.com).

Before venturing out on his own, Loya joined Man Machine Systems Assessment, Inc. (MSA) in Washington, D.C. in 2008. He served as the company’s Executive VP and CFO with full P&L responsibilities in addition to advising the CEO/President on executing the company’s strategic vision.

Prior to joining MSA, Loya spent twenty years in higher education serving three large Texas universities in both Business and Academic Affairs. He started his career at the University of Texas at El Paso where he served as the university’s Budget Director and then went on to Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center to serve as its system-wide Budget Director.

He also holds a BBA in Finance and Banking from the University of Texas at El Paso and an MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Loya has also served on the Loretto Academy School Board, the Sun Bowl Association Board, the EPISD Fund Board, the El Paso Greater Chamber of Commerce Executive Board and the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Education Committee.
